
Wheat fields as far as the eye can see. Much of Montana is covered in grain fields
similar to this. The closer to harvest the more importance to trust God for the appropriate
rain, but not too much. A year of fallowing fields, left empty and cleared of weeds to
collect needed moisture, then a year of planting and growth waiting for a harvest of
somewhere between no return up to 40 or 100 bushels per acre, could make or break a year of income.
Then, a mad dash of work to harvest and gather in the crop. Very little sleep during harvest time.
